During this tour, you will learn about Jim Koch and his iconic Boston lager recipe and how it came to be the giant of Boston beer it is today. During the tour, I found that the guides were knowledgeable and they made the whole experience very entertaining. I saw plenty of bored wives in the group that obviously tagged along but everyone still seemed to have fun.
What do you get?
During this tour, you will get three beers one for each section of the tour and some information about them. We were able to sample the iconic Boston lager straight from the building which made it which is an unbeatable experience. We also sampled a sour beer in the sour barreling room and a dark beer in the barrel aging cellar.

Aside from the tour of the facility, you can visit their taproom and gift shop at any time. The taproom will have all of the classics and seasonal specialties as well as some of the local exclusives. Flights are available at this location and with over 20 beers on tap its not going to be a short trip.
